Welcome, recorder players of all ages and levels! We cordially invite you to play at our monthly ARS chapter meeting with guest conductor Fred Palmer. Please bring your own music stand. Music files are are emailed to subscribers before each meeting, but there are always a few paper copies available at the meeting. New members and guests are welcome. Non-members are asked for a $10 playing fee per session which can be applied to the $50 annual chapter membership fee.

SFEMS presents The Costanoan Trio
“The Harmonious Four” Representing “the best of emerging early music talent” (Early Music America), the Costanoan Trio explores the piano trio repertoire of the late 18th and early 19th centuries on period instruments and attempts to recreate the world of domestic music-making in intimate concert spaces. Cynthia Black, violin; Frédéric Rosselet, cello; and Derek Tam, fortepiano, perform trios by the four great composer-pianists of the late 18th century—Haydn, Mozart, Clementi, and Beethoven. Featured works include Franz Joseph Haydn, Fortepiano Trio in B-flat major, Hob.
