SFEMS will hold its annual members’ meeting on Sunday, September 19, at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time online on Zoom. All SFEMS members are cordially invited to attend. The annual meeting is an opportunity for us to celebrate and reflect on the past season. It also is your chance to share your ideas for the future, and most importantly, elect Board members for the 2021–22 fiscal year. A slate of Board nominations will be announced in late August.
The meeting will include a special online performance featuring one of our affiliates, Harmonia Felice (Amy Brodo, Jon Mendle, and Roy Whelden). Harmonia Felice specializes in the sublime, sensual music of the late French Baroque (with occasional forays into the German and Italian Baroque), often incorporating voice, winds, and dance in its performances.
In addition, we will be honoring the Hon. Marie Bertillion Collins, for her tireless support and service to SFEMS and early music in the Bay Area. Other highlights will include remarks from President Joyce Johnson Hamilton and Executive Director Derek Tam, as well as an open forum for members’ questions and suggestions.
Your participation and input are vital in accomplishing SFEMS’ mission of improving opportunities for early music to survive and thrive in the Bay Area. Help shape the future of SFEMS!
