The Mid-Peninsula Recorder Orchestra is currently accepting new members for its 2014-2015 season. All those who play recorder, early winds or early strings are invited to join. Joining the orchestra is a wonderful opportunity for those who play recorder and other early instruments to hone their performing and technical skills. Membership is open without audition to anyone who knows the basics of his or her instrument and is able to read and play the music provided at the meetings that take place at Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School music room 060, 480 E. Meadow Drive in Palo Alto at 7:30 p.m. Meeting dates for the Mid-Peninsula Recorder Orchestra’s 2014-2015 season are September 3, September 17, October 1, October 8, October 29, November 19, January 7, January 21, February 11, February 18, March 18, March 25, April 1, April 22 and April 29.
