Acis and Galatea cropGeorge Frideric Handel’s pastoral opera Acis and Galatea, with Ann Moss, soprano, as Galatea; Mark Alexander Bonney, tenor, as Acis; and Ben Kazez, baritone, as Polyphemus. Also Henry Purcell motets Beati omnes qui timent Dominum and  Jehova, quam multi sunt hostes mei. The ensemble will be accompanied by a full baroque orchestra.

Machaut square“Machaut’s Messe and Other Glories” Singers Peter Fisher, Cheryl Koehler, Catharine Lucas, Jean McAnerny, Stphen Pitcher, Ralph Prince, Scott Robinson, and Richard Walker perform Guillaume de Machaut’s Messe de Nostre Dame, the first known setting of the complete Mass Ordinary. Also on the program are settings of Alma Redemptor Mater by Johannes Ockeghem and Guillaume Dufay; and selections of works by Philippe de Vitry, Antonio Zacara da Teramo, Johannes Ciconia, Josquin des Pres, and Antoine Brumel.
