Final concert, drama production, and potluck. Students from the SFEMS Music Discovery Workshop & Youth Collegium perform Reniassance music from the time of Galileo, baroque concerti grossi from the age of Corelli, and an original play that reenacts the lively happenings in the Galilei household, from musical performances to dreams about the stars above, and the drama of being at the center of a scientific inquisition.

“Voluptas dolendi—The gestures of Caravaggio” Co-protagonist Mara Galassi harpist presents the art film Voluptas dolendi—i gesti del Caravaggio, produced by the Marco Fodella Foundation. Inspired by the artistic heritage of this great master, the film is an original synthesis of various art forms (music, dance, acting and painting), showing how Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio still exerts a deep influence on contemporary artists.
