“Machaut’s Messe and Other Glories” Singers Peter Fisher, Cheryl Koehler, Catharine Lucas, Jean McAnerny, Stphen Pitcher, Ralph Prince, Scott Robinson, and Richard Walker perform Guillaume de Machaut’s Messe de Nostre Dame, the first known setting of the complete Mass Ordinary. Also on the program are settings of Alma Redemptor Mater by Johannes Ockeghem and Guillaume Dufay; and selections of works by Philippe de Vitry, Antonio Zacara da Teramo, Johannes Ciconia, Josquin des Pres, and Antoine Brumel.
