Santa Cruz Baroque Festival: Beethoven 250th Birthday Celebration
The year 2020 marked the 250th birthday of Ludwig Van
Beethoven (1770— 1827). Santa Cruz Baroque Festival honors the span of his creative life with a concert of his music featuring Nicholas Mathew (fortepianos) and Christine Brandes (soprano). This concert is a joint presentation by Santa Cruz Baroque Festival, Distinguished Artists Concert Series, and UCSC Music Department.

Berkeley Women’s Community Chorus: Rights, Rites, & Rise
The BWCC, led by director Debra Golata, perform a concert comprised mostly of work by women composers, including pieces by Hildegard von Bingen and Chiara Margarita Cozzolani.
