Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and Motets by Scarlatti and Vivaldi

For their tenth anniversary celebration, Voices of Music presents a dazzling display of sacred vocal music, including motets by Vivaldi and Alessandro Scarlatti, and featuring Pergolesi’s signature work, the Stabat Mater. From the Netherlands, soprano Stefanie True makes her Voices of Music debut; Stefanie is joined by the fabulous Meg Bragle for our performances of Pergolesi’s masterpiece. Violinist Cynthia Miller Freivogel also returns from Amsterdam: Bay Area, rejoice! Copresented by the Voices of Music.
